Wealth Management (AUM)

Grow your money with
a fiduciary at the helm.

Once your essential income is secured, the rest of your savings should be doing more than sitting still. I build and actively manage investment portfolios designed for your goals, your timeline, and your tolerance for risk — held safely at an independent custodian, and overseen with a fiduciary’s duty to your best interest.

Professional management, aligned with you

Under a fee-based assets-under-management (AUM) arrangement, I’m paid a small, transparent percentage of what I manage for you, so my fee rises and falls with your portfolio’s value. Within these advisory accounts there are no per-trade commissions and no product of the month — just a portfolio built and monitored under a fiduciary obligation.

To be clear about the limits of that alignment: the advisory fee is a percentage of assets, so it is charged in flat and down years as well as good ones. And insurance and annuity business sits outside this arrangement entirely — there, the insurer pays a one-time commission.

Your accounts stay in your name at a well-known independent custodian. I handle the investing, monitoring, and rebalancing; you keep full visibility and access. It’s the structure serious investors expect — now working for retirees across Ocala, The Villages and Gainesville.

What ongoing management includes

Goals-based allocation

A portfolio built around your actual objectives and timeline — not a one-size-fits-all model.

Diversification & risk control

Broad diversification designed to smooth the ride and keep risk matched to what you’re comfortable with.

Ongoing rebalancing

As markets move, I bring your allocation back in line so it never drifts into more risk than you signed up for.

Tax-aware management

Thoughtful location of assets and tax-conscious trading to help you keep more of what you earn.

Coordination with income

Investments managed in concert with your guaranteed income and withdrawal plan — one strategy, not silos.

Regular reviews

We meet on a schedule that fits you, with clear reporting and no jargon.

Who this is for

If you’ve accumulated retirement savings across a few 401(k)s, IRAs, or brokerage accounts and you’re tired of guessing whether it’s invested the right way, this is where I can help most. I’ll bring the full picture together, simplify what you own, and manage it under one clear plan.

It’s also for people who simply want to hand this off to a professional they trust — someone local, fiduciary, and a phone call away — so they can spend retirement doing what they actually retired for.

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Good questions

Wealth management questions

What is fee-based, fiduciary wealth management?

It means I manage your investment portfolio for a transparent, ongoing advisory fee — typically a small percentage of the assets I manage for you — rather than being paid per trade or per product inside that account. Because I am a fiduciary, I am obligated to build and manage that portfolio in your best interest. Separately, in my capacity as a licensed insurance agent, insurers pay a one-time commission on annuity, life and Medicare products; those are not advisory accounts and are not part of this fee.

Where is my money actually held?

Your accounts are held in your name at an independent, third-party custodian — not by me. I have the authority to manage and trade the account on your behalf, but I never take custody of your funds. You see everything, and you can log in any time.

How much does wealth management cost?

Advisory fees are a straightforward percentage of assets under management, disclosed in writing before you sign anything. There are no hidden loads or surprise commissions. I’ll show you exactly what you pay and what you get for it.

How is this different from an annuity?

An annuity trades some flexibility for guarantees — protected principal and guaranteed income. A managed portfolio keeps your money fully liquid and invested for growth, with market risk. Most of my clients use both: guarantees for essential income, managed investments for growth and flexibility.

Do you take clients throughout Marion, Sumter, Lake and Alachua counties?

Yes. I manage portfolios for clients across Ocala, The Villages, Leesburg, Clermont, Gainesville and the surrounding North Central Florida communities, meeting in person or by video.
